The Dirty Gerund Show recently added an exciting new dimension to our collaborative ruckus! Visual Arts! Every week, we’re trying to showcase talented local painters to make original artwork live on stage while we’re all poet-ing and music-ing and collaborating! The Dirty Gerund is willing to buy paints and canvases if the artist is willing to auction off work at the end of the show! We’ll do our best to showcase this great work on our website and possibly look into doing a gallery show in the future! If you’re a (21 plus) local painter, send Visual Arts Director AARON WHITE a shout at apocalypticon@gmail.com with a couple photo samples or links to your work online!

I will agree to paint not one but two paintings simultaneously, one to be auctioned and the other to be given to Nick Davis in exchange for appearing in a film I am co-producing starring Cowboy Matt. (Matt knows my art work). Catch is I don’t have Nick’s email.

Mchel I am so sorry I haven’t checked the comments section and this is the first time I’ve noticed this! I feel utterly awful. I would be honored to have as a guest artist if you are still interested and would love to appear in your project if it’s still in progress. I remeber you showing me work in your sketch book and would totally enjoy seeing you paint live. Once again I’m very sorry for this accidental slight.

Thank you for having me Dirty Gerund, it was a lot of fun. This is an amazing idea. I love to see how artists’ heads work, it’s like crack, I can’t stop looking and wondering when I look at all the pieces that came forth from the poetry, music, and/or whatever else that sparked the creativity.
